Sam is a business adviser who has been working with small businesses across Victoria. Her specialty is in the areas of resilience, recovery, and continuity planning.
Sam has been working in this space for the last since four years within Federal and State Government programs and in the course of her own consulting business.
Her first interaction with resilience, recovery, and continuity planning with and for small businesses was post 2009 bushfires that impacted Murrindindi Shire.
Sam was also the North East Victoria Lead Business Recovery Advisor for 14 months under the Business Recovery Advisory Service conducted and funded by
Small Business Victoria ( Business Victoria ) and Melbourne Innovation Centre.
This was a result of the 2019/2020 bushfires and subsequent impacts of COVID 19.

The program provides low-cost, high-quality, digital advisory services for small businesses in metro and regional Victoria.

Digital Solutions Mentoring – I have been part of mentoring programs with Melbourne Innovation Centre ( MIC ) since early 2019 and have enjoyed the diversity and determination of business owners to make a difference in their businesses by way of planning in a self-directed format.
MIC provides services to accelerate small business growth for small businesses or start-ups.
If you need a business mentor without the massive cost then this program may suit you.
Each participant at the end of the virtual session/s receives their self-directed plan that is simple and easy to follow.

Dindi Business Advisory Sessions – Vouchers
To help businesses address a current issue or challenge they are facing, Murrindindi Shire Council will be offering access to free business advisory services,
tailored to the individual business needs.
Businesses that apply to receive these services and are successful will receive a voucher for a one-hour face-to-face session with a business advisor,
as well as a 15-minute follow-up session via phone.
Business Advisors providing the services have local knowledge of Murrindindi Shire.
This program will become available in August 2022
